Job Title: Children and Young Adult Support Worker
Salary: £10.50ph – £14.50ph
Contract: 0-40 hours
Essential: Full Driving license (maximum of 6 points) and access to own vehicle.

Our client supports a range of vulnerable children and young people across Lancashire. They are seeking to recruit experienced support workers to provide services which range from working with children and families with short-term needs to delivering long term bespoke support packages for those with particularly complex needs.
-An attractive hourly rate ranging from £10.50ph – £14.50
-Weekly pay with potential earnings of over £1,000 per week

The successful candidate will:
-Thrive in a team environment and be flexible with the ability to work a 7-day rota
-Be comfortable completing early and late shift patterns alongside waking nights and possibly staying in accommodation.
-Plan days out and activities with the children
-Driving the child/s to and from any associated appointments
-Liaising with families and any relevant authorities
-Supporting children with day-to-day duties in their well refurbished, modern, safe, warm residential settings, some of which are in some stunning acres in the Lancashire countryside
– Accommodate 1-2 children no more and work alongside a team to help support the child/s needs
The ideal candidate:
-Experienced children’s Support Workers/Secure Drivers.
-Available/Flexible for days and/or nights through to 24 hr live-in requirements for multiple continuous days/nights.
-Level 2 or above childcare qualifications
-You will need an enhanced DBS and be registered on the online update service or be able to complete the process for an enhanced DB.
-Full Driving license (maximum of 6 points) and access to own vehicle.
-Recent experience of looking after children with emotional, behavioural, or mental health conditions, as such you will need to be compassionate, calm, resilient and understand the issues and challenges children face.
-Whilst they provide full and comprehensive paid training; it would be beneficial if you have qualifications in childcare together with an understanding of current regulations
