Our client is seeking to recruit a dedicated, driven and talented HR Manager to join a growing and successful organisation to provide all round HR leadership including but not limited to:

  • Provide HR support to senior managers and employees across two unionised sites.
  • Deliver advice and support on a variety of HR related issues including employee relations, talent management, succession planning, engagement and recruitment whilst contributing to a variation of HR project around change and transformation.
  • Work closely with managers across the business to coach and influence them, ensuring decisions are made in line with legislation, whilst reviewing HR processes and making recommendations of improvement where necessary.
  • Strategic staffing plans and growth.
  • Responsible for assigning employee compensation & benefits.
  • Implementing and overseeing training & development.


More about the role:

The role will both provide strategic direction for the organisation as well as being hands on with the management of HR operations and the delivery of key HR projects. The successful candidate will provide professional and confidential HR and employment law support and drive alignment between HR and business goals. You will also develop HR policies and procedures, assist line managers with recruitment and staff development and retention and manage all aspects of employee relations. Apart from the normal HR tasks we would be looking for someone with office managements skills too, and the type of person we would be looking for should be highly organised confident and proficient in all aspects of HR, someone who can think on their feet, oversee the implementation of a new HR system and ensure efficiencies all round.  Ideally someone who is approachable with CIPD qualification.


The ideal candidate will:

  • A proven HR generalist with experience across a broad range of HR disciplines.
  • CIPD qualified (level 5–7) ideally
  • A solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
  • Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills alongside proven leadership capabilities.
  • Experience will cover staffing, compensation & benefits, talent planning, employee relations, training and best practice around HR policies.
  • Experience of working in the professional services sector would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • This role will suit an ambitious HR generalist looking to join a growing organisation.
  • Willing to consider part time positions
